Proposed Order: To close that part of C2017 Briar Hill from its junction with C2186 The Holloway to its junction with U13605 Woodrow Ln.
Reason: Footway reconstruction by WCC.
Alternative route: C2017 The Village, A448 Bromsgrove Rd, A450 Worcester Rd, C2185 Woodrow Ln, U13605 Woodrow Ln and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 7 days between 28 September and 7 October 2026.
(C2191 Greenway, Kidderminster) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026
Proposed Order: To close that part of C2191 Greenway from its junction with C2189 Porchbrook Rd to its junction with Organs Hill (Private Road).
Reason: Pole replacements by Openreach.
Alternative route: C2191 Greenway (part), C2021 Heightington Rd, C2189 Boraston Rd, C2189 Quarry Rd, C2189 Porchbrook Rd and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 25 September 2026.
(Link Footpath F10347 Coventry Street, Kidderminster) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026
Order made: To close that part of Link Footpath F10347 Coventry St to Leswell Grove from its junction with A456 Coventry St roundabout to its junction with U12506 George St.
Reason: Utility work by National Grid.
Alternative route: U12506 George St, U12511 Findon St, Link Footpath F10097 Findon St to Leswell Grove, U12513 Leswell Grove, U12512 Leswell Ln and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 6 Months. Anticipated duration: 38 days (24hrs). Commencing: 9 September 2026.
EXEMPTIONS: TO PERMIT ACCESS TO ANY LAND OR PREMISES FRONTING THE HIGHWAY AFFECTED WHERE THERE IS NO OTHER FORM OF ACCESS; AND TO ALLOW THE WORKS TO BE UNDERTAKEN.
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended) (Wyre Forest District – Kidderminster area) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2007 (Variation) Order 2026 (Prohibition of Waiting on Shrewsbury Road, Kidderminster)
On 20 August 2026 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following lengths and sides of roads in Kidderminster:–
Shrewsbury Road (west side): from its junction with Canterbury Road for a distance of 11.6 metres in a southerly direction.
Shrewsbury Road (east side): from its junction with Canterbury Road for a distance of 19 metres in a southerly direction.
The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons’ vehicles.
The Order will come into operation on 10 September 2026.
A copy of the Order, relevant map and Statement of Reasons for making the Order may be downloaded at the Wyre Forest Public Notice Page on the Worcestershire County Council Website or copies supplied by emailing roadtrafficregs@worcestershire.gov.uk; or inspected at Kidderminster Library, Market Street, Kidderminster DY10 1AD and Wildwood, Wildwood Drive, Worcester WR5 2QT during normal office hours.
The validity of the Council’s powers in making the Order or this exercise of them may be questioned by application to the High Court within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made.
(Wyre Forest District – Kidderminster area) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2007 (Variation) Order 2026 [Disabled Persons’ Parking Space on Wood Street, Kidderminster]
On 20 August 2026 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to create a disabled persons’ parking space on the following length and side of roads in Kidderminster:–
Wood Street: From a point 71 metres north west of its junction with Castle Road in for a distance of 6.6 metres in a north westerly direction.
The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons’ vehicles.
The Order will come into operation on 10 September 2026.

Worcestershire County Council are to consider making an Order the effect of which will be to extend prohibition of waiting at any time on the following length and side of road in Kidderminster:–
Tynings Close (south side): from a point 16.5 metres west of its junction with Lowe Lane for a distance of 9 metres in a westerly direction.
Tynings Close (north side): from a point 18.3 metres west of its junction with Lowe Lane for a distance of 6.6 metres in a westerly direction.
The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons’ vehicles.
