Notice is hereby given COLCHESTER CITY COUNCIL acting on behalf of the North Essex Parking Partnership in exercise of the delegated powers of the traffic authority Essex County Council granted under an Agreement dated 1st July 2022 proposes to make the above Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 3 (1), 4(2), 32, 35,45,46,49 and 53 and Parts III and IV of schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The Effect Of The Order:
To introduce Double Red (red route) No Stopping at Any Time restrictions at the Following Junctions within North Weald:
1. The junction of Epping Road and Park Close, North Weald.
2. The junction of Epping Road and Hurricane Way, North Weald.
3. The junction of Hurricane Way and Blenheim Way, North Weald.
4. The junction of High Road and Kiln Road, North Weald.
5. The junction of High Road and Wellington Road, North Weald.
6. The junction of Church Lane and Lancaster Road, North Weald.
7. The junction of Church Lane and George Avey Croft, North Weald.
8. The junction of Church Lane and Wellington Road, North Weald.
9. The junction of Wellington Road and Beaufort Close, North Weald.

This Order will be incorporated into The Essex County Council (Epping Forest District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019 by replacing the numbers:
TL490 037 revision 0 with revision 1. TL495 037 revision 0 with revision 1.
TL495 040 revision 1 with revision 2.

Introduce the following tiles: TL490 035 TL490 050.

Notice is hereby given that ESSEX COUNTY COUNCIL has made the above Order under Sections 84(1)(a) and (2) and Part III of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended)

Effect Of The Order:

Implement: a ‘20mph Zone’ on the following length of road, in the District of Epping Forest:

(Woodcroft, Harlow) (Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic) - Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that the ESSEX COUNTY COUNCIL intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect Of The Order:
To temporarily close that length of Woodcroft, Harlow in the District of Harlow, from its junction with Penlow Road for a distance of approximately 125m in a north westerly direction.

The closure is scheduled to commence on 7th October 2026 for 3 days or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2405647 – Essex County Council).

The scheduled dates may vary for those works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

No diversion route is available.

The Order will come into effect on 10th September 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Hook Lane, Stapleford Abbotts) - (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that the ESSEX COUNTY COUNCIL has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect Of The Order:
To temporarily close that length of Hook Lane, Stapleford Abbotts in the District of Epping Forest, from a point approximately 85m southwest of its junction with Stapleford Road for a distance of approximately 50m in a south westerly direction.

The closure is scheduled to commence on 22nd September 2026 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC411001WGTR7C3S – Openreach).

The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole replacement works are undertaken by Openreach.

An alternative route is available via: Hook Lane, Manor Road, Lambourne Road, A112, B174, B1459, B175 and vice versa.

The Order came into effect on 27th August 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Sidney Road, Theydon Bois) - (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that the ESSEX COUNTY COUNCIL has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect Of The Order:
To temporarily close that length of Sidney Road, Theydon Bois in the District of Epping Forest, from a point approximately 100m southeast of its junction with Coppice Row for a distance of approximately 50m in a south easterly direction.

The closure is scheduled to commence on 21st September 2026 for 5 days or where stated on a valid permit (EC30078227396 – UK Power Networks).

The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.

No diversion route is available.

The Order came into effect on 27th August 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(The Hornbeams, Harlow) - (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that the ESSEX COUNTY COUNCIL has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect Of The Order:
To temporarily close that length of The Hornbeams, Harlow in the District of Harlow, from its junction with Holdings Road to its junction with Herons Wood a distance of approximately 205m.

The closure is scheduled to commence on 21st September 2026 for 43 days or where stated on a valid permit (AZ5011001519553 – Cadent Gas).

The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while mains replacement works are undertaken by Cadent Gas.

An alternative route is available via: Holdings Road, Rivermill and vice versa (with access only into The Hornbeams).

The Order came into effect on 27th August 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
