TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF 401484 HOLYWELL ROAD (WOTTON UNDER EDGE TOWN) STROUD DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the relevant provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 401484 Holywell Road from outside of the property known as ‘No.8 Holywell Road’ to its junction with Holywell Road to The Square, for a distance of approximately 35 metres.
The reason for the said closure is for replacement of poles.
The said road is expected to be closed on the 9th September 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF 401485 BLACK QUARRY HILL TO SYNWELL LANE (WOTTON UNDER EDGE TOWN) STROUD DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the relevant provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of 401485 Black Quarry Hill to Synwell Lane Road, from a point approximately 65 metres west and opposite the property known as ‘Reform Lodge’, to outside of the property known as ‘Reform Lodge’ for a distance of approximately 65 metres.
The reason for the said closure is for replacement of poles.
The said road is expected to be closed between 09:00hrs and 11:00hrs on the 9th September 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

The reason for the closure is for polling works.
The said road is expected to be closed on 9th September 2026. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the B4058 Haw Street from its junction with High Street to outside of the property known as ‘The Pack Horse’ for a distance of approximately 65 metres. The reason for the closure is for works on behalf of Wales & West Utilities.
The road is expected to be closed on 6th September 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE B4060 WICKWAR ROAD (KINGSWOOD PARISH) STROUD DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the B4060 Wickwar Road at a point approximately 140m west from Kingswood Footpath 33 for a distance of approximately 20 metres.
The reason for the closure is for a Network Rail bridge inspection.
The road is expected to be closed from 22:00hrs on 22nd September 2026 to 06:00hrs on 23rd September 2026. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 401517 Millend Lane Road, from its junction with Pitt Court to its junction with Warend Hill for a distance of approximately 190 metres.
The reason for the closure is for electrical pole works.
The said road is expected to be closed on 21st September 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the C284 Road from Wortley Road to Alderley, from its junction with Hill Mill Lane to Wotton under Edge footpath 74 for a distance of approximately 35 metres.
The reason for the closure is for works by Severn Trent Water.
The said road is expected to be closed from 08:00hrs on 21st September 2026 until 18:00hrs on 22nd September 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.
