The reason for the closure is for works on behalf of Severn Trent Water

TEMPORARY CLOSURE AND RESTRICTION OF VARIOUS ROADS (VARIOUS PARISHES) TEWKESBURY BOROUGH

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close and restrict part of the lengths of roads as detailed in the Schedule below.

SCHEDULE

The reason for the said closures and restrictions is for Fibre Broadband installation works by Openreach.

There will be no stopping or waiting and no loading permitted throughout the duration of the said works.

The said roads are expected to be closed and restricted on a rolling programme commencing 8th September 2026 where the presence of approved signage will indicate whether the said closures and restrictions are in force. Further advance warnings of dates/times will be displayed on site prior to the said closures and restrictions taking effect. This Order may permit the said closures and restrictions in any order, or simultaneously as required. It is anticipated all works will be completed by 23rd October 2026.

The reason for the closure is to carry out vegetation clearance works.

The road is expected to be closed from 9th September 2026 until 10th September 2026.

Notice is hereby given that Gloucestershire County Council in exercise of its enabling powers under Section 84 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made the above-named order the effect of which will be to introduce a 20mph speed limit along Tuffley Avenue for its entire length.

The length of road falls within the City of Gloucester in the County of Gloucestershire.

The Order shall come into effect on 7th September 2026.

NOTICE is hereby given that Gloucestershire County Council intend to make an Order to close temporarily under Sections 14, 15 and 16 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 (as amended) the Public Footpaths as described in the schedule below;

Part of Public Footpath EBW 70 from its junction with Valliant Way extending in a generally North Westerly direction for a distance of approximately 370 metres to its junction with Public Footpath EBW 69.

Public Footpath EBW 69 from its junction with Public Footpath EBW 70 extending in a generally South Westerly direction for a distance of approximately 240 metres to its junction with the Brockworth Bypass Westbound.

The closures are necessary for public safety due to construction works being carried out.

The Order will come into force on the 21st September 2026 and it is anticipated that the Public Footpaths will close on that day until 21st October 2026. After this date if the closure is still required it will be necessary to apply to the Secretary of State for an extension of time.
