Back Broomfield Road - Temporary Road Closure due to Water Works

BACK BROOMFIELD ROAD, KEIGHLEY

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of water works proposed to be executed on or near Back Broomfield Road, Keighley intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Back Broomfield Road from the rear of No.17 Back Broomfield Road to the rear of No.27 Back Broomfield Road.

PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Back Broomfield Road (unaffected section), Broomfield Street, Broomfield Road, Eagle Street and vice versa.

The proposed Order will come into effect at 08:00 hours on the 15th September 2026 and remain in force until 18:00 hours on the 15th September 2026 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
