What is happening?

BUCKINGHAMSHIRE COUNCIL
PUBLIC NOTICE OF INTENT
TO CONSTRUCT TRAFFIC CALMING MEASURES 
STOMP ROAD, BURNHAM

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Buckinghamshire Council, in exercise 
of  its  powers under Sections 90A - 90F of the Highways Act 1980, 

The Highways (Traffic Calming) Regulations 1999 and after consultation 
with the Chief of Police, proposes to construct a raised table on Stomp 
Road, Burnham, at the location specified below:

111 Stomp Road (approximately 90 metres west of the junction with Aldbourne Road)

raised table 
(replacing 
existing speed 
cushions)
8.7 m long, of a maximum 
height of 100mm, with 
slopes at 1:15 (subject 
to tolerances in 
the Regulations)

A copy of the Plan showing the length of road affected together with a 
copy of the Council’s Statement of Reasons for proposing to install the 
raised table may be inspected Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm 
at Buckinghamshire Council, Council Access Plus, Walton Street, 
Aylesbury, HP20 1UA.

Comments and objections on the proposal (together with the grounds 
of any objection) must be sent in writing by 11:59pm on 25th September

Aylesbury, HP20 1UA, or by email to the Buckinghamshire Highways 
Consultation mailbox at: highways.consultations@buckinghamshire.
gov.uk with the subject “Stomp Road – Proposed raised table”.
