What is happening?

THE ROYAL BOROUGH OF 
WINDSOR & MAIDENHEAD
(ALLEYNS LANE (PART), COOKHAM DEAN)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING)
ORDER 2026
The Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead has made an Order, the effect of which will be to:
Prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of Alleyns Lane from its junction with Dean Lane northward to the northern boundary of property known as “Asiana”.

The diversion route for vehicles affected by this Order will be via Dean Lane, Bradcutts Lane and Alleyns Lane.

The purpose of the Order is to facilitate works in the said road, namely de-silting of fibre ducts, blockage clearing and new connections, and as a result there will be the likelihood of danger to the public.

The Order shall be in operation each day between 08.00 hours and 18.00 hours from Monday 7 September until Thursday 10 September 2026.

There will a temporary prohibition of driving when 
signs as prescribed by the Traffic Sign Regulations 
and General Directions 2016 are in place to indicate 
the said restrictions.
