TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2026
VARIOUS LOCATIONS, MUMBLES WARD WAITING RESTRICTIONS NOTICE 2026

NOTICE: is hereby given that on 1st September 2026 The Council of the City and County of Swansea made the above order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) and of all other enabling powers. 

The order will be effective from 11th September 2026, as set out in the schedules below. 

A copy of the order and plan may be inspected during office hours at Y Storfa, 277-278 Oxford St, Swansea SA1 3EL. Alternatively the documents can be viewed online at https://www.swansea.gov.uk/permanenttro.   

Any person wishing to challenge the validity of the order or procedures used in making this order may apply to the High Court within 6 weeks of the date the order was made.

                                                                     SCHEDULES
SCHEDULE 1
REVOCATIONS
The existing Orders are revoked insofar as they are inconsistent with the proposals hereinafter contained which relate to the length or lengths of the road or roads referred to in the schedules hereto.

SCHEDULE 2
NO WAITING AT ANY TIME
NOTTAGE ROAD
On its southern side from its junction with the projected eastern kerbline of Nottage Mews eastwards for a distance of 10 metres in a easterly then northerly direction.

NOTTAGE MEWS
On its eastern side from its junction with the southern kerbline of Nottage Road southwards for a distance of 2 metres (as far as the start of the block paving surface in Nottage Mews).

VICTORIA AVENUE
On its southern side from its junction with the western kerbline of Chapel Street westwards for a distance of 22 metres.

SCHEDULE 3
RESIDENT PERMIT HOLDERS ONLY PARKING
CASTLE ROAD
On its north eastern side from a point 71 metres north of its junction with the northern kerbline of Newton Road northwards for a distance of 16 metres (northwards from the access to Oystermouth Castle).

SCHEDULE 4
NO WAITING AND NO LOADING/UNLOADING AT ANY TIME
WALTERS CRESCENT
On its western and south western side from its junction with the southern kerbline of Newton Road southwards and south eastwards to its closed end a distance of approximately 82 metres.
