THE FIFE COUNCIL (BELLYEOMAN ROAD & TOWNHILL ROAD, DUNFERMLINE)

(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS)

ORDER 2026

Fife Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 prohibiting the use by vehicular traffic of –

(i) Road Closure – Bellyeoman Rd

(from Townhill Rd to Witchbrae); and

(ii) Lane Closure – Townhill Rd

(from Bellyeoman Rd to Leys Park Rd – southbound only).

The Order is to allow track installation works to be carried out in safety and will be operational from 14/09/26 to 20/09/26 or until earlier completion of the works. The alternative route for through traffic will be via Townhill Rd, Robertson Rd and Bellyeoman Rd OR Townhill Rd, Robertson Rd, Whitefield Rd, Halbeath Rd and Appin Cres.

Access for emergency service vehicles, residents and pedestrians will be maintained. Any queries regarding this Notice should be directed to Traffic Management, Roads & Transportation Service, Bankhead Central, Bankhead Park, Glenrothes, Fife KY7 6GH or by e-mail to traffic.management@fife.gov.uk.
