MANCHESTER CITY COUNCIL TEMPORARY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 (AS AMENDED)
Notice is hereby given that the City Council intends, in not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make the following Temporary Road Traffic Order(s): ORDER NO. MCC000152230289: The City of Manchester (Wavell Road, Woodhouse Park Ward) (Temporary Suspension of Parking) Order 2026 under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order will be to suspend the operation of the designated parking place on Wavell Road. The Council is satisfied that the suspension is necessary in order to facilitate safety zones and to set up hoarding for demolition works. It is expected that the work will be in progress between the 14th September 2026 and the 27th October 2026. The Order shall come into operation on the 14th September 2026 and may remain in force for a maximum period of eighteen months. If all necessary works are completed within a shorter period, the Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period.
