(Wellington Road, Sandhurst) - (Temporary Prohibition Of Driving) - Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that BRACKNELL FOREST BOROUGH COUNCIL intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order, in accordance with Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicles from proceeding in any direction along:
a) Wellington Road, Sandhurst between Crowthorne Road and A321 Yorktown Road.
The alternative route for this closure is A321 Yorktown Road, Crowthorne Road and this route reversed.
The purpose of this Order is to ensure public & worker safety while the Highway Authority carry out carriageway patching.
The proposed Order will come into operation on the 16th September 2026, and its maximum duration will be 6 months. However, it is currently planned that the carriageway closure will be in place until 18th September 2026.
This Order shall only apply when the appropriate signs and markings are displayed in the road.
