TEMPORARY TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS – FERNDALE ROAD
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, to facilitate bridge maintenance works, the Council of the London Borough of Lambeth has made an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Ferndale Road between its junction with Pulross Road and a point 97 metres south-west of that junction.
2. The alternative routes for affected vehicles will be available via Ferndale Road, Bedford Road, Acre Lane, Brixton Road and Ferndale Road and via Pulross Road, Bellefields Road, Stockwell Road, Stockwell Green, Landor Road, Bedford Road and Ferndale Road.
3. The Order will come into force on 6 September 2026 and continue in force for a maximum duration of 1 month, to allow for contingencies, or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. In practice, it is anticipated that the works will take 2 nights (1am to 4am) to complete.
