TEMPORARY CLOSURE 407505 BOWBRIDGE LANE (STROUD TOWN) STROUD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 407505 Bowbridge Lane from outside the property known as ‘Stroud General Hospital’ to its junction with Cowle Road for a distance of approximately 185 metres. The reason for the closure is for gas mains replacement works.

The said road is expected to be closed from 7th September 2026 until 24th September 2026. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE 501430 HAMPTON FIELDS (MINCHINHAMPTON PARISH) STROUD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 501430 Hampton Fields Road from its junction with Nags Head Lane to outside of the property known as ‘Field Farm’ for a distance of approximately 300 metres.

The reason for the closure is for works on behalf of Severn Trent Water.

The road is expected to be closed from 9th September 2026 to 11th September 2026. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 38500621 The Frith Road from its junction with The Frith to Bussage Crossroads to outside of the property known as No.56 Frithwood Park for a distance of approximately 340 metres.

The reason for the closure is for works on behalf of Wales and West Utilities.

The road is expected to be closed from 7th September 2026 until 9th October 2026. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the C209 Oldends Lane from outside of the property known as ‘Fairview’ to outside of the property known as ‘No.22 Oldends Lane’ for a distance of approximately 250 metres.

The reason for the closure is for barrier maintenance works.

The road is expected to be closed between 23:00hrs on 8th September 2026 and 05:00hrs on 9th September 2026. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE AND RESTRICTION OF VARIOUS ROADS

(EASTINGTON PARISH AND STONEHOUSE TOWN) STROUD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close and restrict part of the lengths of roads as detailed in the Schedule below.

The reason for the said closures and restrictions is for carriageway resurfacing works.

There will be no stopping or waiting and no loading permitted throughout the duration of the said works.

The said roads are expected to be closed and restricted on a rolling programme commencing 11th September 2026 where the presence of approved signage will indicate whether the said closures and restrictions are in force. Further advance warnings of dates/times will be displayed on site prior to the said closures and restrictions taking effect. This Order may permit the said closures and restrictions in any order, or simultaneously as required. It is anticipated all works will be completed by 23rd September 2026. However if the works are not completed by this date, the Order can remain in force for up to 18 months.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE 401448 LOWER LITTLEWORTH TO ST CHLOE MEAD,

AMBERLEY (MINCHINHAMPTON PARISH) STROUD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 401448 Lower Littleworth to St Chloe Mead, Amberley, from outside the property known as ‘Ash House’ to outside the property known as ‘Mill End Cottage’ for a distance of approximately 20 metres. The reason for the closure is for works involving repointing and rendering of outside cottage wall.

The said road is expected to be closed from 22nd September 2026 until 6th October 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.
