The Council has made the above named Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily prohibit vehicles on Alexander Avenue, Falkirk from the junction of the A904 Grangemouth Road, south for 10 metres from 27/08/2026 to 18/09/2026. The prohibition is to allow for the upgrading of the junction and surrounding infrastructure.

Alexander Avenue to new link road eastbound only to Stadium Roundabout.

On 20 March 2025 Falkirk Council made The Falkirk Council (Various Streets, Avonbridge) (Temporary 20mph Speed Restriction) (No.TTRO/1928) Order 2025 under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which temporarily restricts the speed of vehicles to 20mph on the lengths of roads identified in the Schedule to that Order and would have expired at 23.59 hours on 30 September 2026.
The temporary speed restriction is considered necessary because of the likelihood of danger to the public on or near the said lengths of road specified in the Schedule to this Order.
