THE DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (DERBY ROAD, TUPTON)
(NO WAITING AT ANY TIME) TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2026

Notice is hereby given that, on the 27th of August 2026 Derbyshire County Council made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The Order will come into operation on the 7th of September 2026 and its effect is:
TO PROHIBIT WAITING AT ANY TIME BY VEHICLES ON LENGTH(S) OF THE FOLLOWING ROAD(S):
Derby Road Service Road, Tupton - Northern Junction with A61 Derby Road
the east side
From its northern junction with A61 Derby Road in a south-easterly direction for a distance of 12 metres.
Derby Road Service Road, Tupton - Northern Junction with A61 Derby Road
the west side
From its northern junction with A61 Derby Road in a south-easterly direction for a distance of 17 metres.
A61 Derby Road, Tupton
the east side
From its northern junction with Derby Road Service Road in a northerly direction for a distance of 11 metres.
Derby Road Service Road, Tupton - Southern Junction with A61 Derby Road
the east side
From its southern junction with A61 Derby Road in a north-easterly direction for a distance of 16 metres.
Derby Road Service Road, Tupton - Southern Junction with A61 Derby Road
the west side
From its southern junction with A61 Derby Road in an easterly then northerly direction for a distance of 20 metres.

the east side
From its southern junction with Derby Road Service Road in a northerly direction for a distance of 20 metres.
From its southern junction with Derby Road Service Road in a southerly direction for a distance of 22 metres.
Any permanent Traffic Regulation Orders made prior to this Order, insofar as they relate to the lengths of road listed above, will be revoked.
A copy of the Order and documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order are available for inspection at the County Council’s principal offices known as County Hall on Smedley Street in Matlock, Clay Cross Library, Kenning Park, Holmgate Road, Clay Cross S45 9PH, during opening hours and on request by emailing

quoting reference Z3462, until 6 weeks after the Order is made until 8th of October 2026. Any person who wishes to question the validity of the Order, or any provision contained in it, on the ground that it is not within the powers of The Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the ground that a requirement of that Act or any relevant regulation made under it has not been complied with may, within 6 weeks from the 27th of August 2026 make application for the purpose to the High Court.
