The above-named Order made on 3rd September 2026 by the Shropshire Council (“the Council”) under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980 and section 53A(2) of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, will divert approximately 118 metres of Bridleway 25B in the Parish of Great Ness, located at the former Nesscliffe Hotel SY4 1DB.
A copy of the Order, the Order map and an explanatory statement may be seen on the Council’s website at

outdoor.recreation@shropshire.gov.uk

Any representations about or objections to the order may be sent in writing to the Rights of Way Team, Shropshire Council, The Guildhall, Frankwell Quay, Shrewsbury, SY3 8HQ, or by email to

outdoor.recreation@shropshire.gov.uk

, not later than 1st October 2026. Please state the grounds on which they are made. If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, the Council may confirm the Order as an unopposed order. If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs for confirmation any representations and objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the Order.
