Shropshire Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make an order temporarily prohibiting the use of Bridleway UN8 Great Ness from where it leaves Valeswood Lane at SJ 3924 2036 travelling in a general southerly direction to where Footpath 37A joins it at SJ 3916 1992. And Bridleway UN14 Great Ness where it leaves Bridleway UN8 at SJ 3917 2005 travelling eastwards, crossing the Parish Boundary and becoming Bridleway UN5 Little Ness, continuing in a north easterly direction to where it meets Bridleway UN9 at SJ 3934 2012. And part of Bridleway UN9 Little Ness from its junction with Bridleway UN5 at SJ 3934 2012 travelling in a northerly direction to meet Valeswood Lane at SJ 3931 2033.
The Order will come into operation on 14th September 2026 for a period of up to 6 months or until works are completed whichever is soonest and is required so that mains renewal works can be safely carried out.
There is no alternative route available.
