Public Notices for Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders
The following public notices were served on Thursday 3rd September 2026:
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Milton Keynes City Council intends, in not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make the following Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (OLD WOLVERTON ROAD (PART), OLD WOLVERTON) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2436)
The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily prohibit pedestrians and vehicles from proceeding along the following lengths of road whilst Network Rail undertake repairs to the railway bridge:
Old Wolverton Road, Old Wolverton – from its junction with Haversham Roundabout to its junction with Wolverton Park Road.
Whilst the above length of road is closed, the alternative route will be via Grafton Street, Millers Way and Great Monks Street (and vice versa).
The closures will be in effect from 14th September – 18th December 2026 and will only be in force when indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (CALVERTON LANE, CALVERTON) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2481)
The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along the following lengths of road whilst Smith Construction undertake development works:
Calverton Lane, Calverton – from its junction with Ryland Drive to its junction with Oakhill Lane.
Whilst the above length of road is closed, the alternative route will be via Watling Street, London Road, Horsefair Green and Calverton Road (and vice versa).
The road closure will be in effect from 14th September – 25th September 2026 and will only be in force when indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (MALLOW GATE (PART), CONNIBURROW) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2453)
The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along the following lengths of road whilst Openreach undertake ducting works:
Mallow Gate, Conniburrow – from its junction with Portway to its junction with Cleavers Avenue.
Whilst the above length of road is closed, the alternative route will be via Portway, Marlborough Street and Conniburrow Boulevard (and vice versa).
The road closure will be in effect from 17th – 25th September 2026 and will only be in force when indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Milton Keynes City Council on 1st September 2026, made the following Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (REDWAY BA01, BRIDLEWAYS BW01 AND BA06 (PARTS), BRADWELL ABBEY) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2436)
The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily prohibit pedestrians and vehicles from proceeding along the following lengths of redway and bridleway whilst Network Rail undertake structural works:
Redway BA01, Bridleways BW01 and BA06 – from their junctions with Alston Drive to their junction with Redway BW03.
Whilst the above length of road is closed, the alternative route will be via Redway BA02, Redway BW02 and Redway BW03 (and vice versa).
The closures will be in effect on 7th, 8th and 14th September 2026 and will only be in force when indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (LOMOND DRIVE (PART), BLETCHLEY) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2482)
The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along the following lengths of road whilst National Grid undertake ducting works:
Lomond Drive, Bletchley – from its junction with Sheelin Grove to its junction with Stoke Road.
Whilst the above length of road is closed, the alternative route will be via Stoke Road and Drayton Road (and vice versa).
The road closure will be in effect from 7th September – 9th October 2026 and will only be in force when indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (SUMMERHAYES (PART), GREAT LINFORD) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2466)
The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along the following lengths of road whilst Openreach undertake ducting works:
Summerhayes, Great Linford – from outside number 59 to outside number 65.
Whilst the above length of road is closed, there will be no alternative route.
The road closure will be in effect from 10th – 14th September 2026 and will only be in force when indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (BROWNS WOOD ROUNDABOUT (PART), BROWNS WOOD) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2493)
The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along the following lengths of road whilst Vodafone undertake telecom equipment installation works:
Browns Wood Roundabout – on its western side between the ingress and egress junctions of Bletcham Way (preventing travel from south to north on the roundabout)
Whilst the above length of road is closed, the alternative route will be via Bletcham Way and Walton Park Roundabout.
The road closure will be in effect on 11th September 2026 9:30am to 4:30pm and will only be in force when indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.
