What is happening?
Somerset Council Parish of Misterton Temporary Closure of Silver Street
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: Silver Street - from the junction with Mill Lane to the junction with Turnpike Cross To Silver Street. A total distance of 262 metres. This Order will enable Openreach to provide service to customer.
The Order becomes effective on 16th September 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 25th September 2026 and last until 25th September 2026 between the hours of 09:30 - 15:30 for a total of 6 hours.
