Temporary Closure Of Part Of The C516 Silverleys Green, Cratfield
SUFFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL has made an order closing the C516 Silverleys Green, Cratfield from Grove Farm for 250 metres northbound to facilitate overhead fibre cabling works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be: Spong Lane, Bell Green, Marys Lane, Linstead Road, Cratfield Road, Huntingfield Road, Swan Green Lane, Road East from C516, Swan Green and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate on 02/09/2026 from 9:30am – 3:30pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

Temporary Closure Of Part Of The C659 The Street, Little Whelnetham
SUFFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL has made an order closing the C659 The Street, Little Whelnetham from the junction with Parsonage Lane for 30 metres westbound to facilitate stop tap replacements. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be: Lower Green - Little Whelnetham, Low Green - Little Whelnetham, Water Lane - Little Whelnetham, Sudbury Road - Little Whelnetham, Sudbury Road - Great Whelnetham, Sudbury Road - Sicklesmere, Bury Road, Sicklesmere and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 02/09/2026 - 04/09/2026 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

Temporary Closure Of Part Of The B1079 Woodbridge Road, Grundisburgh
SUFFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL has made an order closing the B1079 Woodbridge Road, Grundisburgh from the junction with Half Moon Lane to the junction with Lower Road to facilitate the installation of a fibre network. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be: the B1079, the B1078, the B1438, the A12 and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 02/09/2026 - 10/09/2026 from 7:00pm – 6:00am but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).
