TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING ORDER 2026
The Oldham Borough Council on 27th August 2026 made a Temporary Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which is to continue the prohibition on any vehicle being allowed to wait at any time in that part of the rear passage between Waterloo Street and Morris Street, Oldham from its junction with Retford Street to its junction with Hardy Street, which was imposed by a temporary traffic notice on 14th August 2026.
The restrictions are required to remove obstructive parking which is restricting access for residents and emergency services and will be in force from 4th September 2026 until 13th February 2028.
