NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council made an Order, the effect of which is to;
(i) Temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along Queen Street from its junction with Whitehall Street to its junction with Duke Street.
(ii) Temporary prohibit vehicles from waiting at anytime along Queen Street from its junction with Whitehall Street to its junction with Duke Street.
The Order is required to facilitate installation of telecommunications equipment within the Highway.
The Order will be operative from 00:00 on the 7th September 2026 until 23:59 on the 17th September 2026.
The alternative route for vehicles will be via Whitehall Street, Howard Street, Duke Street & vice versa.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING AT ANY TIME ORDER) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council made an Order, the effect of which is to;
(i) Temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along Princess Street from its junction with Whitehall Street to its junction with Duke Street.
(ii) Temporary prohibit vehicles from waiting at anytime along Princess Street from its junction with Whitehall Street to its junction with Duke Street.
The Order is required to facilitate the installation of telecommunications equipment in the within the Highway.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council made an Order, the effect of which is to; (
(i) Temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along Joy Street from its junction with Binns Nook to its junction with Scarr Drive.
(ii) Temporary prohibit vehicles from waiting at anytime along Joy Street from its junction with Binns Nook to its junction with Scarr Drive.
The Order is required to facilitate carriageway resurfacing on Joy Street.
The Order will be operative from 08:00 on the 7th September 2026 until 17:00 on the 28th September 2026.
The alternative route for vehicles will be via Scarr Drive, Dewhirst Road, Binns Nook Road & vice versa.
(FOX STREET, ROCHALE)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICLES ORDER)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING AT ANY TIME ORDER) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council intend, in not less than seven days, to make an Order, the effect of which will be to;
(i) Temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along Fox Street from a point 1 metres south of its junction with Morely Street for a distance of 10 metres in a southerly direction.
(ii) Temporary prohibit vehicles from waiting at anytime along Fox Street from a point 1 metres south of its junction with Morely Street for a distance of 10 metres in a southerly direction.
The Order is required to facilitate Sewer monitoring work within the carriageway.
The Order will be operative from 08:00 on the 16th September 2026 until 18:00 on the 16th September 2026.
There is no alternative route for vehicles.
(RIVER STREET, ROCHDALE)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICLES) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council intend, in not less than seven days, to make an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along River Street from its junction with Faulkner Street (the southerly carriageway) for a distance of 24 metres in a south westerly direction.
The Order is required to facilitate the maintenance of a United Utilities water service within the carriageway.
The Order will be operative from 08.00 hours until 18.00 hours on 16th September 2026.
There is no alternative route for vehicles.
(MANCHESTER ROAD, EDINBURGH WAY, ROCH VALLEY WAY, ROCHDALE)
(TEMPORARY 30MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council intend, in not less than seven days, to make an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a temporary speed limit that will prohibit vehicles from driving at a speed exceeding 30 mph on:
i) Manchester Road from its junction with Bolton Road to its junction with St Mary’s Gate in both directions.
ii) Edinburgh Way from its junction with Manchester Road to its junction with Sandbrook Way in both directions
iii) Roch Valley Way from its junction with Manchester Road to its junction with Manchester Road- Old Section in both directions
The Order is required to facilitate the safe installation of the new cycle way.
The Order will be operative from 19:01 on the 10th September 2026 until 23:59 on the 31st January 2027.
