TEMPORARY FOOTPATH CLOSURE
(WALTHAM PUBLIC FOOTPATH 66) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the North East Lincolnshire Borough Council intend to make not less than seven days from the date of this Notice an Order, provisions of Section 14 (2) (a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit pedestrians on the following Public Footpath:
Public Footpath 66 at Waltham between the highway
known as Skinners Lane, Waltham at Ordnance Survey
Grid Reference TA526427, 403771 and Ordnance Survey
Grid Reference TA526470, 4036778 at the highway known as Grove Lane, Waltham.
The closure will commence at 07.00hrs on Monday 9th September 2026.
This temporary closure is required to avoid danger to persons using the Public Footpaths whilst works are carried out upon it.
The Order will come into operation on the 9th September 2026 and will continue in force for a period not exceeding six months unless extended for a further period by the Secretary of State for Transport, or until completion of the works (whichever is the earlier).
The dates and times above are correct at the point of print however should weather or any other conditions delay the works the works will go ahead when it is safe to do so. The path will be reopened to pedestrians as soon as possible.
