What is happening?

THE LONDON BOROUGH OF HAVERING
(Waiting, Loading And Stopping Restrictions) - (Map Based) - (Amendment No. 75) - Order 2026 - (Parking Places) (Map Based) (Amendment No. 75) - Order 2026

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on the 27th August 2026 the Council of THE LONDON BOROUGH OF HAVERING did make the above-mentioned Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended

2. The general effect of the Orders will be to:-
PTO 1274
a) Remove the existing loading bay on Ferry Lane, opposite Global House.
b) Introduce no loading at any time restrictions on Ferry Lane, opposite Global House.
c) Introduce no waiting at any time restrictions on Ferry Lane, opposite Global House.
d) Introduce a bus stop and stand on Ferry Lane, opposite Global House.

PTO 1276
a) Introduce two bus stops with no stopping at any time restrictions on Lamsom Road, near its junction with Ferry Lane

3. Copies of the Orders, which will come into force on the 31st August 2026, other relevant Orders, and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders, can be obtained by emailing: schemes@havering.gov.uk, until the expiration of a period of six weeks from the date on which the Orders are made.

4. If any person wishes to question the validity of either of the Orders, or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any requirement of the Act or of any instrument under the Act has not been complied with, that person may, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders are made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.
