NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Pollards, Maple Cross from a point 40m north east of its junction with Longlees north eastwards and eastwards for a distance of approximately 20m ("the Road").
An alternative route will be via Pollards, Bradbery and Pollards.
The Order is needed because electrical connection works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
The Order will come into effect from 14 September 2026 and will be valid for a period of 18 months. The works are scheduled to take 8 days to complete and will only take effect on the days and times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

An alternative route will be via A4008 (Aldenham Road/Pinner Road/Oxhey Lane), A410 Uxbridge Road, A409 (Brookshill/Common Road) and A4140 High Road.

NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council has made Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (1984 Act) to amend various existing Orders in the County of Hertfordshire as specified in Schedule 1 and revoke Orders listed in Schedule 2 to this Notice. The Orders will come into effect on Monday 31 August 2026.
