ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

The Hammersmith and Fulham (Mitre Bridge) (Prescribed Routes) Order 20**

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham propose to make the above-mentioned Order under the powers granted by sections 6 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.

2. The general effect of the Order would be to introduce an 18 tonne weight limit on Mitre Bridge, Scrubs Lane, between the south-eastern boundary of No. 108 Scrubs Lane and the north-western boundary of No. 149 Scrubs Lane.

3. The controls specified in articles 2 do not apply in respect of a vehicle travelling for a purpose approved by the Council and is registered on a 'Vehicle Exemption List' as held by the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham's Parking Services Department.

4. A copy of the proposed Orders, the Councils Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Orders, and documents giving more detailed particulars can be inspected, by appointment, during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the end of a period of 6 weeks beginning with the date on which the Orders are made, or as the case may be, the Council decides not to make the Orders.

5. Any person wishing to object to the proposed Orders or make other representations should send a statement in writing to Traffic Orders, Climate Change and Transport, Place Department, Town Hall Extension, King Street, Hammersmith, W6 9JU or via email to Traffic.Orders@lbhf.gov.uk before the expiration of 21 days from the date on which the notice is published.
