(A695 SCOTSWOOD ROAD) TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2026
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Newcastle upon Tyne intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order under Section 14 (1) (b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of the order will be to prohibit any vehicular traffic to turn left from A695 Scotswood Road onto William Armstrong Drive and to ensure to all vehicular traffic must turn left from William Armstrong Drive onto A695 Scotswood.
2. The order is required to allow works to be carried out on or near the highway.
3. Exemptions will be provided for any police, fire brigade and ambulance vehicles on emergency call.
4. The Order will come into operation on 14th September 2026 and will continue, as and when the relevant traffic signs are displayed, for up to 4th January 2028.
