TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2026
South Tyneside Council propose to make an Order under S.14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect will be to temporarily close to vehicles of public footpath from grid ref NZ 3840 6234 Nursery Lane at the junction with Front Street, Cleadon and heads in a southerly direction for approximately 70m at grid ref NZ 3200 6229.
The Order will come into force on 22 September 2026. The maximum duration of the Order will be 6 months or until the works are completed, if this is sooner. The Order is required for health and safety reasons, while the gas main is replaced.
