What is happening?
THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL
(THE DROVEWAY) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION
OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City
Council propose to make an Order under Section 14(1)(a)
of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by
the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991,
prohibiting vehicles from proceeding on The Droveway
closed at its junction with Earlswood Crescent.
The Order may operate for a maximum period of eighteen
months, but it is anticipated that the works will be
undertaken on the 13 September 2026 only between the
hours of 09:30 to 14:30.
The diversion route is: Barnhurst Lane, Wobaston Road
and vice versa.
The Order is required to facilitate the repair of a defective
frame and cover by Severn Trent Water.
