ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14(1)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council intends to make the following Order,
Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council (Temporary Closure of Oakham Road, Dudley) Order 2026 the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding on Oakham Road, Dudley, for the purpose of carriageway resurfacing being carried out on or near the affected road. The order will come into operation on 14.09.2026 and will remain in force until 25.09.2026 or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier. The maximum duration of the order is 18 months. Traffic will be diverted via: Portway Hill, Portway Road, Tippity Green, Dudley Road, New Rowley Road, Buffery Road, Oakham Road, and vice versa.
Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council (Temporary Closure of Junction Road, Wordsley) Order 2026 the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding on Junction Road, Wordsley, for the purpose of gas mains replacement works being carried out on or near the affected road. The order will come into operation on 15.09.2026 and will remain in force until 05.10.2026 or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier. The maximum duration of the order is 18 months. Traffic will be diverted via: Sweetbriar Drive, Marine Crescent, Audnam, Camp Hill, Junction Road, and vice versa.
Access to frontages and for emergency vehicles will be maintained where safe to do so.
