Love Lane, Londesborough - Temporary Traffic Regulation

THE EAST RIDING OF YORKSHIRE COUNCIL
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH
TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
LOVE LANE, BURLINGTON LANE,
LOW STREET AND TOP STREET,
LONDESBOROUGH

East Riding of Yorkshire Council has made an Order
the effect of which is to prohibit any person from
causing any vehicle to proceed/from proceeding along
Love Lane, Burlington Lane, Low Street and Top Street,
Londesborough commencing 21 September 2026
until 24 September 2026 between 08.00 hours and
17.00 hours, Monday to Friday only for the purposes
of patching and carriageway maintenance works.
The works will take place in phases and advanced
signage will inform members of the public. The reason
for the closure is to enable the proposed patching and
carriageway maintenance works, to be carried out and
completed in a manner consistent with ensuring the
safety of the public. It is anticipated that the works will
be completed within four days. The alternative route
for traffic affected by the Order is via:
• Love Lane - Low Street and Burlington Lane,
Londesborough CP, Wolds Weighton Ward.
• Burlington Lane - Love Lane, Top Street and Low
Street, Londesborough CP, Wolds Weighton Ward.
• Low Street - Burlington Lane, Top Street and Love
Lane, Londesborough CP, Wolds Weighton Ward.
• Top Street - Burlington Lane and Love Lane,
Londesborough CP, Wolds Weighton Ward.
The roads will be closed to all through traffic but
access will be maintained for residents, emergency
vehicles and pedestrians. The Order will commence
21 September 2026 and continue in force for
a period not exceeding eighteen months or until
the works which it is proposed to carry out have
been completed, whichever is the earlier. Further
