PROPOSED SPEED LIMIT REDUCTION ORDERS
AND PRIORITY WORKING SYSTEM 2026
Norfolk County Council propose to make the following Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:
The Norfolk County Council (Castle Rising, C76 Lynn Road)
(50 mph Speed Limit) Order 202X
The effect of which is to prohibit any motor vehicle from exceeding 50 miles per hour along the C76 Lynn Road from a point 65 metres north-east of its junction with the C78 Priory Lane, north-eastwards to a point 195 metres east of its junction with the U22054 Lower Road.

(30 mph Speed Limit) Order 202X
The effect of which is to prohibit any motor vehicle from exceeding 30 miles per hour along the lengths of road specified in the Schedule below.

| C76 School Road | From its junction with the C76/28 Lynn Road, northwards and southwards for its entire length of 385 metres, to its junction with C76/40 Lynn Road |
| U23069 The Old Hall | From its junction with the U22053 Lower Road, southwards for its entire length of 130 metres, including the turning head |
| U23110 Church Crofts | From its junction with the C76 School Road, eastwards for its entire length, including the turning head |
| U22054 Nightmarsh Lane | From its junction with the U22053 Lower Road, northwards, for a distance of 225 metres |
| U22017 Lodge Lane | From its junction with the C76 Lynn Road, southwards, for a distance of 200 metres |

Copies are also available for inspection at Norfolk County Council, County Hall, Martineau Lane, Norwich, NR1 2DH and at the offices of the Borough Council of King’s Lynn & West Norfolk, King’s Court, Chapel Street, King’s Lynn, PE30 1EX, during normal office hours. Online viewing is recommended.
Any objections and representations relating to the Order must be made in writing and must specify the grounds on which they are made. All correspondence for these proposals must be received at the office of nplaw, Norfolk County Council, County Hall, Martineau Lane, Norwich, NR1 2DH, marked for the attention of the nplaw Traffic Regulation Order Team by 22nd September 2026.
