Notice is given that the Secretary of State for Transport has approved the continuing in force for the period set out below of an Order made by Norfolk County Council under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, prohibiting the use by vehicles of Narford Road from 20 metres south of its junction with Lynn Road for 450 metres southwards in the Parish of West Acre because of the likelihood of danger to the public.
Date of Original Order: 23rd August 2024.
Previous restriction period: 28th August 2024 to 27th August 2026.
Period of extension: 27th August 2026 to 27th February 2027.
Alternative route is via: Narford Road, Nar Valley Way, Fullers Lane, River Road, Lynn Road, Green Hill Road.
Persons who contravene the Order will be liable, on conviction, to a fine.
