Notice is given that the Secretary of State for Transport has approved the continuing in force for the period set out below of an Order made by Norfolk County Council under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, prohibiting the use by vehicles of South Acre Road from its junction with Blind Lane for 700 metres south-westwards in the Parish of Castle Acre because of the likelihood of danger to the public.
Date of Original Order: 23rd August 2024.
Previous restriction period: 28th August 2024 to 28th August 2026.
Period of extension: 28th August 2026 to 28th February 2027.
Alternative route is via: South Acre Road, Chimney Street, Blind Lane, Bailey Street, Castle Acre Road, Three Corner Lane, Big Wood Lane (South Acre, Castle Acre).
Persons who contravene the Order will be liable, on conviction, to a fine.
