What is happening?

DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
HOLLINGTON LANE, AND DERBY LANE, EDNASTON

WHEN: 21 September 2026 (between 09:30 to 15:00).
WHERE: Hollington Lane, Derby Lane, Ednaston between Jct. with Derby Lane and Long Meadow and Jct. with Derby Lane and Beech House.
REASON: To facilitate gully sucking.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Hollington Lane, Main Street, Hoargate Lane, Long Lane, Moor Lane, A52, Derby Lane and vice versa.

Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
