PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION & DEFINITIVE MAP & STATEMENT MODIFICATION ORDER 2026
The above Order, made on 26 March 2026 under Section 119 of the Highways Act 1980 & Section 53A(2) of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, will divert part of public footpath No.28, Clayhidon running from its current route through Troakes Farmyard, to a route through the fields west of Troakes Farm as shown on the Order map CCET/PROW/26/08.
A copy of the Order and the Order map may be seen free of charge at the offices of Mid Devon District Council, Phoenix House, Tiverton EX166PP from 10.00am to 4.00pm, and downloaded at www.devon.gov.uk/haveyoursay.
Any representations or objections to the Order must be sent in writing to Public Rights of Way, Great Moor House, Bittern Road, Sowton, Exeter, Devon, EX2 7NL not later than 06 October 2026.
Please state the grounds on which they are made. Copies of any objections or representations received may be circulated to interested parties. If no such representations or objection are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, Devon County Council may confirm the Order as an unopposed Order.
If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment, Food & Rural Affairs for confirmation, any representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the Order.
