St Simon Street Passage Gable Depot - Temporary Road Traffic Regulation Order
What is happening?
The Council of the City of Salford intends to make in no less than 7 days under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984: SALFORD CITY COUNCIL (ST SIMON STREET PASSAGE GABLE DEPOT) TEMPORARY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2026.
The Order will introduce a closure of the St Simon Street Passageway at the gable end of the depot. The Order is required to provide a safe working area for the development on St Simon Street. The order is due to come into operation on Wednesday 23rd September 2026 and will last for a period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. The works are expected to be completed by 30th September 2026. The diversion routes are via Trinity Way Riverside Walkway - Bridgewater Street - St Simon Street Footpath Link To Greyfriars Court - St Simon Street - Blackfriars Road, vice versa.
