POINT PLEASANT AND NORTHFIELDS

• The Wandsworth (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Special Parking Areas) (Experimental No. 1) Order 2026

• The Wandsworth (Putney) (Parking Places) (Experimental No. 1) Order 2026

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth on 26 August 2026 made the above orders under section 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Local Government Act 1985 and the Traffic Management Act 2004.

2. The general effect of the Orders is to: -

(a) Convert an existing shared-use parking bay (approx. 4 parking spaces) opposite No. 96 Point Pleasant to a RNLI permit bay;

(b) Convert a shared-use parking bay (approx. 1-2 parking spaces) outside No. 90 Point Pleasant to a motorcycle bay;

(c) Convert approximately 22 metres of a shared-use parking bay to a RNLI permit bay opposite Park House, Northfields and introduce a 0.7 metre length of double yellow lines to separate the RNLI bay from the remaining shared-use bay.

3. Copies of the Orders, which will come into operation on 4 September 2026, and of documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders, can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the end of a period of six weeks from the date on which the Orders were made in The Customer Centre, The Town Hall, Wandsworth High Street, London, SW18 2PU.

4. Whilst the Orders remain in force the Director - Highway Operations and Street Scene, or some person authorised by him, may modify or suspend the Orders or any provision contained in them if it appears to him or that other person essential in the interests of the expeditious, convenient and safe movement of traffic or of the provision of suitable and adequate parking facilities on the highway or for preserving or improving the amenities of the area through which any road affected by the Orders run.

5. The Council will consider in due course whether the provisions of the Orders should be reproduced and continued in force indefinitely by means of Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Any person wishing to object to the making of Orders for the purpose of such reproduction and continuation may, within the above mentioned period of six months, send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds on which it is made to the Whilst the Order remains in force the Director - Highway Operations and Street Scene, or some person authorised by him, may modify or suspend the Order or any provision contained in them if it appears to him or that other person essential in the interests of the expeditious, convenient and safe movement of traffic or of the provision of suitable and adequate parking facilities on the highway or for preserving or improving the amenities of the area through which any road affected by the Orders run.

7. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements of that Act or of any relevant regulations made under that Act have not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks.

MINOR PARKING AMENDMENTS

VARIOUS STREETS IN THE BOROUGH

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth propose to make the following Order under sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Local Government Act 1985 and the Traffic Management Act 2004.

• The Wandsworth (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Special Parking Areas) (Amendment No. ) Order 202.

2.The general effect of the Order is to: -

(a) install double yellow lines in Glen Albyn Road at its junction with Thursley Gardens and at its junction with Victoria Drive. Extend existing double yellow lines in Victoria Drive;

(b) install double yellow lines in Inner Park Road at its junction with Lewesdon Close

(c) extend the existing double yellow lines in Princes Way, opposite Fleur Gates.

3. Copies of documents giving more detailed particulars of the proposed Orders are available for inspection during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays in The Customer Centre, The Town Hall, Wandsworth High Street, London, SW18 2PU.

The documents will remain available until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Order IS made or, as the case may be, the Council decides not to make the Order.

4. Any person wishing to make a comment or to object about the proposals should send a statement in writing to the Executive Director of Resident Services at the address below within 21 days of the date of this Notice

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE – FELSHAM ROAD, SW15.

1. The Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate highway works (“the works”) they have made an Order, the effect of which will be to introduce road closures in the roads detailed in Paragraph 2.

2. Whilst the works take place, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Felsham Road between the junctions with Weimar Street and Putney High Street.

3. The Order will come into effect on 4th September 2026 will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months. The works are expected to be completed by 18 September 2026.

4. An alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Felsham Road, Salvin Road and Lower Richmond Road. The gate in Felsham Road will be opened to allow the diversion.

5. Nothing in the Order applies to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

6. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14

TEMPORARY RESTRICTION – GARRATT LANE SW18

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth has made an order to restrict vehicular movement in Garratt Lane to facilitate a Mobile Crane Operation.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place, temporary restriction will be in place on Garratt Lane, the northbound bus lane from the bus stop outside the Wandsworth Medical Centre to the junction with Mapleton Crescent will be suspended. There will be no waiting 22:00 - 06:00.

3. Whilst the order remains in force the alternative route for traffic affected by the closure will be appropriately signed.

5. The order will come into operation on 6 September 2026 and will remain in place until the works are complete. The order will remain in place for no longer than 18 months, although the works are expected to be complete by 7 September 2026.
