NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council proposes to make the above Traffic Orders under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended and all other enabling powers.
1. The General Effect Of The Orders Would Be To:
a) Revoke the disabled parking places in the vicinity of: Nos. 25 and 44 Dalton Road, Croydon, No. 59 Birchfield Close, Coulsdon, No. 102 Canterbury Road, Croydon, No. 2a Cecil Road, Croydon, No. 48 Glossop Road, South Croydon, No. 146 Headley Drive, New Addington, No. 81 Malvern Road, Thornton Heath, No. 22 Mayfield Road, Thornton Heath, No. 9 Rockmount Road, Upper Norwood, No. 3 Weybridge Road, Thornton Heath and No. 83 Winterbourne Road, Thornton Heath.
b) Designate New Parking Places At Which Vehicles Displaying A Disabled Persons’ Badge May Be Left Without Charge Or Time Limit In The Following Locations:

2. A copy of the proposed Orders and all related documents can be inspected Monday to Friday inclusive, until the last day of a period of six weeks beginning with the date on which the Orders are made or, as the case may be, the Council decides not to make the Orders, between 10:00am and 6:00pm, at: Croydon Central Library, Katharine Street, CR9 1ET. Alternatively, all related documents or further information can be requested by email to: Parking.Design@croydon.gov.uk.
3. Persons desiring to object to the proposed Orders should send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds therefor to: The Parking Design Section, 3rd Floor, Zone C, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon, CR0 1EA or by emailing the Parking Design Team (email address above) quoting the reference: PP/CH/H20 & H21 by 17 September 2026.

CROYDON COUNCIL - Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984, Section 14 - As Amended And The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 - Addiscombe Grove, Addiscombe Road, & Cherry Orchard Road Croydon - Temporary Restriction Of Vehicular Traffic
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate tram network maintenance works, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic in Addiscombe Grove, Addiscombe Road, and Cherry Orchard Road, Croydon.
2. Whilst The Said Works Are Taking Place:
a) Addiscombe Road will be closed between its junctions with Colson Road and Billinton Hill.
b) Addiscombe Grove will be closed between its junctions with Addiscombe Road.
c) Cherry Orchard Road will be closed between its junctions with Billinton Hill and Addiscombe Road.
3. During the closure, traffic will be diverted as detailed via A222, Shirley Road, A232, and reversed.
4. The Order will come into operation on 02 September 2026, and it is anticipated that the work will be completed in one day. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required.
5. The restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
(a) A vehicle involved in the said work.
(b) A vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes, or the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency, such as the loss of supplies of gas, electricity or water to premises in the area, which necessitates the bringing of vehicles into a section of road to which the order applies.
(c) Anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.
6. The restrictions will only apply during such times and to such an extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.
