ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984: SECTION 14

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF

FOOTPATH 3, SANTON DOWNHAM

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing Footpath 3, Santon Downham from the junction with Thetford Road for 2km southbound to facilitate sewage infrastructure works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

The diversion route will be the junction with Green Road for 740 metres eastbound then southbound to the junction with Footpath 3 and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 07/09/2026 - 29/01/2027 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 6 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF

THE U2030 CLAPGATE LANE, U2022 POWLING ROAD

AND U2025 BENACRE ROAD, IPSWICH

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the following roads:

? U2030 Clapgate Lane, Ipswich from Cliff Lane to Raeburn Road

? U2022 Powling Road, Ipswich from Clapgate Lane to no. 33 Powling Road

? U2025 Benacre Road, Ipswich from Clapgate Lane to no. 57 Benacre Road.

This is to facilitate footway slurry sealing works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Clapgate Lane, Landseer Road, Nacton Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 07/09/2026 - 11/09/2026 from 9am - 3pm. If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

THE U2666 BRITANNIA ROAD, IPSWICH

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the U2666 Britannia Road, Ipswich from Woodbridge Road to Spring Road to facilitate a new electricity supply. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Woodbridge Road, Woodbridge Road East, Spring Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 07/09/2026 - 11/09/2026 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the B1067 The Street, Bramford from the junction with Acton Road to the junction with Stoddart Road to facilitate bus stop access improvement works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be The Street, Fitzgerald Road, the B1113, The Street and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 07/09/2026 - 08/09/2026 from 9.30am - 2.30pm. If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the C733 Dorking Tye, Assington from Stantons Farm to Abbots Meadow to facilitate ducting works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Dorking Tye, Assington Road, Cuckoo Hill, the B1508, Spout Lane, Upper Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 07/09/2026 - 11/09/2026 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

REDE WAY UNASSOCIATED FOOTWAY, GREAT CORNARD

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the F8940 Rede Way Unassociated Footway, Great Cornard from no. 60 for 20 metres south eastbound to facilitate stop tap replacements. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

The diversion route will be Rede Way Unassociated Footway, Raydon Way Unassociated Footway and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 07/09/2026 - 09/09/2026 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

The diversion route will be Belstead Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 07/09/2026 - 28/09/2026 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).
