NOTICE OF A CREATION AGREEMENT FOR
UPGRADE OF A PUBLIC FOOTPATH TO BRIDLEWAY
AND CREATION OF A NEW BRIDLEWAY AT LEISTON
Suffolk County Council has made an Agreement under section 25 of the Highways Act 1980. The Agreement has the effect of upgrading part of Leiston Footpath 16B to bridleway (now known as Leiston Bridleway 16X) and creating a new length of bridleway known as Leiston Bridleway 16Y, as detailed below.

Under Section 25 of the Highways Act 1980 there is no right of objection to the Agreement, which has already come into effect.

Leiston Bridleway 16X - Commencing at the junction with Red House Lane at Ordnance Survey Grid Reference (OSGR) 64509 26196 progressing in a generally north north westerly direction for a distance of approximately 266 metres to OSGR 64502 26222 then progressing in a generally east north easterly direction for a distance of approximately 50 metres to OSGR 64507 26224 at the junction with Seaward Avenue.
Leiston Bridleway 16Y - Commencing at the junction with Red House Lane at Ordnance Survey Grid Reference (OSGR) 64509 26196 progressing in a northerly direction for a distance of approximately 18 metres to a junction with Bridleway 16X at OSGR 64509 26198.
