Brent - Temporary Traffic Restrictions Due To Notting Hill Carnival
What is happening?
THE LONDON BOROUGH OF BRENT
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 – Section 16(A) - Dagmar Gardens, Linden Avenue And Station Terrace (Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic) Order 2026
The Council of THE LONDON BOROUGH OF BRENT hereby give notice that, due to thronging expected to be caused by Notting Hill Carnival that is likely to cause danger to the public, they have made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from:-
(a) entering or proceeding in those lengths of:-
i) Dagmar Gardens, which lies between the north-eastern kerb line of Linden Avenue and the south-western kerb line of Station Terrace; and
ii) Station Terrace, which lies between the south-western kerb line of Chamberlayne Road and the north-eastern kerb line of Linden Avenue,
(b) waiting, loading or unloading in that length of Linden Avenue, which lies between the north-western kerb line of Dagmar Avenue and the south-eastern kerb line of Station Terrace,
when and where appropriate traffic signs are being displayed.
The prohibitions referred to in (a) and (b) above will apply between 10:00am on 30th August 2026 and 2:00am on 1st September 2026 inclusive.
Access to premises in or adjacent to Dagmar Gardens, Linden Avenue and Station Terrace will be maintained insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the event and it does not compromise the safety of any of the participants.
Vehicular traffic affected by the prohibitions in (a) and (b) above should proceed as indicated by traffic signs.
