Endsleigh Gardens

Temporary Prohibition of Traffic

  1. The Council of the London Borough of Redbridge hereby gives notice that in order to facilitate a sewer cover replacement, it intends to make an Order the effect of which would temporarily prohibit traffic in Endsleigh Gardens.

  2. Whilst works are in progress, or whilst the authorised traffic signs are displayed, Endsleigh Gardens will be closed at its junction with The Drive.

  3. An alternative route for traffic in article 2 shall be provided via The Drive, Kensington Gardens, Belgrave Road, Endsleigh Gardens and De Vere Gardens.

  4. Exemptions would be provided in the Order to permit reasonable access to premises, so far as it is practical without interference with the execution of the said work and for works vehicles, any vehicle being used in connection with police, fire or ambulance purposes and anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform.

  5. The Order would come into operation on the 7th September 2026 between (09:30-14:30) and would be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until works are completed, whichever is the sooner.

  6. Works would be expected to commence on Monday the 7th September 2026 and are expected to finish on that day. The dates specified are for guidance and informative purposes only and works may extend outside these dates.

    Lansdowne Road

    Temporary Prohibition of Traffic

    1. The Council of the London Borough of Redbridge hereby gives notice that in order to facilitate an excavation in Lansdowne Road; it intends to make an Order the effect of which would temporarily prohibit traffic in Lansdowne Road.

    2. Whilst works are in progress, or whilst the authorised traffic signs are displayed; Lansdowne Road will be closed to southbound traffic outside No. 2 Lansdowne Road.

    3. An alternative route for traffic in article 2 shall be provided via Lansdowne Road, Meads Lane, Cambridge Road and St Alban’s Road.

    4. Exemptions would be provided in the Order to permit reasonable access to premises, so far as it is practical without interference with the execution of the said work and for works vehicles, any vehicle being used in connection with police, fire or ambulance purposes and anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform.

    5. The Order would come into operation on the 7th September 2026 and would be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until works are completed, whichever is the sooner.
