Decoy Avenue - Extension Of - At Any Time Waiting Restrictions

THE LONDON BOROUGH OF BARNET
The Barnet (Free Parking Places, Loading Places, Waiting, Loading And Stopping Restrictions) - (Amendment No.313) Order 2026NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of THE LONDON BOROUGH OF BARNET have made on 27th August 2026 the above-mentioned Orders under Section 6 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers.

In order to deter obstruction, improve traffic flow, improve sightlines and road safety, the general effect of the Free Order will be to introduce new lengths of ‘at any time’ waiting restrictions at the following locations:
a) Extend the existing waiting restrictions outside No.34 Decoy Avenue NW11, by approximately 5 metres.
b) Extend the existing waiting restrictions outside No.31 Decoy Avenue NW11, by approximately 3.5 metres.
c) Extend the existing waiting restrictions on Decoy Avenue NW11 (side of No.110 Bridge Lane) by approximately 5.5 metres.

A copy of the Order, which will come into operation on Monday 31st August 2026 and the Council’s Statement of Reasons for making the Order can be obtained, for a period of 6 weeks from the date on which this notice is published, by emailing: parking.consultations@barnet.gov.uk, or by writing to: The Design Team, Highways Section, 2 Bristol Avenue, Colindale, London, NW9 4EW.

Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or any of their provisions on the grounds that they are not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or any regulations made there under have not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
