Barnet - Proposed No Waiting “At Any Time” Restrictions
What is happening?
THE LONDON BOROUGH OF BARNET
The Barnet (Free Parking Places, Loading Places, Waiting, Loading And Stopping Restrictions) - (Amendment No.*) Order 20**
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of THE LONDON BOROUGH OF BARNET propose to make the above-mentioned Order under section 6 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers.
In order to help maintain traffic flow, deter obstructive parking, improve sightlines and improve safety, the general effect of the above Order would be to:
1. introduce approximately 6 metres of no waiting "At any time" restrictions outside No.68 Selvage Lane NW7.
2. introduce approximately 3 metres of no waiting "At any time" restrictions on the southwest side of Glendor Gardens HA8 (opposite the southwest flank wall of No.62 Selvage Lane NW7).
The above measures are being proposed in relation to a previous public statutory consultation which was advertised on 19th March 2026 under scheme reference SCR704.
A copy of the proposed Order, associated plan of the relevant areas and the Council’s Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Order can be obtained, inclusive for a period of 21 days from the date on which this notice is published, by emailing: HighwaysCorrespondence@Barnet.gov.uk, or by writing to: The Design Team, Highways Section, 2 Bristol Avenue, Colindale, London, NW9 4EW.

Any person wishing to object to or comment on the proposed Order should send a written statement explaining their objection/comments and quoting Reference Number: - SCR737 (RSW025) JM, to: The Design Team, LONDON BOROUGH OF BARNET, 2 Bristol Avenue, Colindale, NW9 4EW, via the Barnet TraffWeb website or via email to: HighwaysCorrespondence@Barnet.gov.uk, within 21 days of the date of this Notice.
