PROPOSED INSTALLATION AND REMOVAL OF ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGING BAYS
Notice is hereby given that the Portsmouth City Council proposes to make the following Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984: The Portsmouth City Council (Various Roads) (Electric Vehicle Recharging Parking Places) (No. 7) Order 2026.
1. The effect of the Order would be:
a) To introduce one 6 metre length on-street “Electric Vehicle Charging Bay” (parking only for electric vehicles being re-charged). The EV bay will replace any existing control where appropriate:

3. Persons wishing to object to these proposals must do so by sending their representations to
or by post to the TRO Team, Portsmouth City Council, Civic Offices, Portsmouth PO1 2NE, quoting ref P027-26 by 21st September 2026, stating the grounds for the objection.
