Notice is given that the Council of the City of Peterborough has made an Order pursuant to section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:

The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the roads detailed in the schedule below, only 1 closure will be in place at any given time.

Green Lane                                                                                           Ref: 27-194

The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Green Lane, at its junction with Dogsthorpe Road. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. There is no alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is, access will be maintained. The proposed order will come into force on the 01/09/2026 and will continue until the electrical link box installation works have been completed or until the 31/08/2026, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works will take place between the 01/09/2026 and the 04/09/2026. The City of Peterborough Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic Order 2026 –
Eyebury Road                                                                                       Ref: 27-195

The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Eyebury Road, at 49. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is: Eyebury Road, Oxney Road, Parnwell Way, Paston Parkway, A47, Crowland Road and vice versa. The proposed order will come into force on the 30/08/2026 and will continue until the gas and electrical duct installation works have been completed or until the 29/08/2027, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works will take place between the 30/08/2026 and the 02/09/2026. Waterworks Lane                                                                                Ref: 27-181

The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Waterworks Lane, as lies between Pasture Farm and a point approximately 400m west. The following restriction will also be imposed as necessary to facilitate some or all of these works: 30mph speed limit. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is: none available, access will be maintained. The proposed order will come into force on the 01/09/2026 and will continue until the electrical installation works have been completed or until the 31/08/2027, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works will take place between the 01/09/2026 and the 11/09/2026. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is: West Street, King Street, Stamford Road and vice versa. The proposed order will come into force on the 01/09/2026 and will continue until the cut and patch works have been completed or until the 31/08/2027, whichever is the earlier. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is: French Drove, South Eau Bank, Station Road, Hill Gate, Lincolns Avenue, West Drove South, Mill Lane, Long Lane, Main Road, Drove Road, Hulls Drove, A16, Nene Terrace Road, Crowland Road, Station Road, A47 and vice versa. The proposed order will come into force on the 31/08/2026 and will continue until the duct installation works have been completed or until the 30/08/2027, whichever is the earlier. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is: Westwood Park Road, Mayors Walk and vice versa. The proposed order will come into force on the 09/09/2026 and will continue until the water main works have been completed or until the 08/09/2027, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works will take place between the 09/09/2026 and the 11/09/2026. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. There is no alternative route for vehicles affected by this order. Access will be maintained. The proposed order will come into force on the 07/09/2026 and will continue until the ducting installation works have been completed or until the 06/09/2027, whichever is the earlier. The effect of which is to stop any pedestrian or cyclist from proceeding along the footpath/cycle path known as Footpaths around Larch Grove, as lies between the main office and the side of number 53. The Council is satisfied that pedestrians and cyclists should be prohibited due to works being proposed to be executed on the above footpath/cycle path. The alternative route for pedestrians and cyclists affected by this order is: footpaths around Larch Grove, access will be maintained. The proposed Order will come into operation on 07/09/2026 and will continue until the overlay works have been completed or until the 06/03/2027, whichever is the earlier. The proposed Order will come into operation on 08/09/2026 and will continue until the ducting installation works have been completed or until the 07/03/2027, whichever is the earlier.
