(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE) ORDER 2026
Fife Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 prohibiting the use by pedestrians of –
Section 1 – Adjacent to Selkirk Ave. The alternative route for pedestrians is via Selkirk Ave.
Section 2 – Between Selkirk Ave and Seco Pl. The alternative route for pedestrians is via Selkirk Ave, Raith Ave, Broad St, High St, McLeod Dr, McLeod Dr to Seco Pl Footpath, Seco Pl, Church St and Primmer Pl.
Section 3 – Between McLeod Dr and Factory Rd. The alternative route for pedestrians is via McLeod Dr, High St, Station Rd and Factory Rd.
The Order is to allow street lighting installation works to be carried out in safety and will be operational daily between 08:00 and 16:30 from 07/09/26 to 23/10/26 or until earlier completion of the works. The works will be phased as indicated by the contractor on site. Access for emergency service vehicles will be maintained.
