(GOMERSALLANE, GOMERSAL, CLECKHEATON)
(TEMPORARYPROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Gomersal Lane, Gomersal from a point outside property no. 61 to a point outside property no. 78 PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via the unaffected length of Gomersal Lane, Lower Lane, Nibshaw Lane, Spen Lane. It is intended that the closure will commence on Tuesday, 15 September 2026 and remain in force until 16 September 2026 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(MOORLANDS AVENUE, DEWSBURY)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that short length of MoorlandsAvenue, Dewsbury at its junction with Northfield Place PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Northfield Road, Halifax Road, Willans Road, Moorlands Avenue, Moorlands Road.

It is intended that the closure will operate on Monday, 14 September 2026 between 09:30 hours to 15:30 hours only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(WOOD STREET, DEWSBURY)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Wood Street, Dewsbury from a point outside property no. 1 for approximately 33 metres PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

There is no alternative diversionary route available.

It is intended that the closure will operate on Thursday, 17 September 2026 only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(BRADFORD ROAD, CLECKHEATON/LIVERSEDGE)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the following lengths of road in Cleckheaton/Liversedge:

Road Closure

Bradford Road - fromA638 Bradford

Road/Rawfolds Way toA638 Bradford Road/Ings Crescent

Point Closure

Knowler Hill - at its junction with Bradford Road

PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Bradford Road, Dewsbury Road, St Peg Lane, Spen Bank, Oxford Road, Gomersal Road, Leeds Road.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday, 14 September 2026 and remain in force until 13 November 2026 between 19:00 hours to 06:00 hours only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(ALEXANDRA ROAD, BATLEY)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Alexandra Road, Batley from its junction with Bradford Road to its junction with Rouse Mill Lane PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Bradford Road and Rouse Mill Lane.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday 14 September 2026 and remain in force until 16 October 2026 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(BANKWOOD WAY/WOODHEAD ROAD, BIRSTALL, BATLEY)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Bankwood Way/ Woodhead Road, Birstall from its junction with Gelderd Road to its junction with Showcase/Nando’s/McDonalds entrance PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via the unaffected length of Bankwood Way, Gelderd Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Tuesday, 1 September 2026 and remain in force until 10 September 2026 between 23:00 hours to 07:00 hours only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(ELM WAY, BIRSTALL, BATLEY)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Elm Way, Birstall, Batley from its junction with Moat Hill to a point outside property no. 23 PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Moat Hill, Ashfield Road, Elm Way.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Tuesday, 1 September 2026 and remain in force until 3 September 2026 between 08:00 hours to 17:00 hours each day (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
