Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 As Amended By The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 Section 14(1) - Diploma Avenue N2 Temporary Footpath Closure
THE LONDON BOROUGH OF BARNET COUNCIL Hereby Give Notice that owing for the need to facilitate carriageway resurfacing works, they intend to make an Order which will close Diploma Avenue footpath N2 between its junction with Diploma Avenue and between its junction with High Road East Finchley Car Park, while the works take place.
The closure will commence on Monday 3rd September 2026 (with a contingency date of Thursday 10th September 2026) and is expected to last for 57 days or until works are completed.
The alternative route for pedestrians will be provided by following the suggested route as indicated on temporary signage.
Nothing in the above paragraphs shall apply to anything done with the permission of or at the direction of a Police Constable or a Traffic Warden in uniform.
